Colocation Provider Cologix Completes Toronto Data Center Expansion at 905 King Street West

Cologix, a network neutral interconnection and colocation data center company, has successfully completed and commissioned a major expansion to its TOR 2 data center located at 905 King St. West. Customers have immediate access to up to 1MW of new high power density data center capacity.

“Toronto is at the forefront of three key trends impacting the data center market,” said Sean Maskell, president, Cologix Canada. “IP traffic is now interconnecting closer to the edge in emerging markets; enterprises are increasingly outsourcing their data center operations; and then there’s also the rise of hybrid cloud models. Our TOR 2 expansion is a direct response to the demand Cologix is seeing for high availability, highly connected, neutral retail colocation based on each of these trends.”

“Toronto has become one of the most important markets in North America and has been a high growth market for Cologix,” said Grant van Rooyen, chief executive officer (CEO), Cologix. “We are proud to push the market forward with our new capacity and unique access to dedicated connectivity to public clouds like Microsoft Azure and IBM SoftLayer.”

Cologix has data centers available in Columbus, Dallas, Jacksonville, Lakeland, Minneapolis, Montreal, New Jersey, Toronto, and Vancouver.
