Education Networks of America Selects 365 Data Centers to Support Expansion

365 Data Centers, a provider of secured data center solutions with locations across the United States, has announced that Education Networks of America (ENA) has moved into its Indianapolis colocation data center location.

Education Networks of America is an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider for K–12 schools, higher education institutions, and libraries supporting education and library communities in 33 states nationwide. ENA was seeking a carrier-dense colocation data center that could support its rapid expansion and enable its transition to DC power to reduce power costs.

365 data centers“We were impressed with the history of 100 percent uptime since the Indianapolis facility opened over 16 years ago. Our customers depend on us to provide reliable service,” said Michael McKerley, CTO and vice president of ENA. “The Indianapolis facility has flexible power options and the robust environmentals and cooling necessary to support our dense IaaS computing services.  365 Data Centers was excellent to work with as we brought in our own dark fiber, and the company also has a carrier-rich ecosystem for connectivity across the country.”

365 Data Centers is a privately held company based in Emeryville, California. The company operates eight data centers across the United States.

“We understand that moving to a new data center is a major undertaking,” said John Scanlon, CEO of 365 Data Centers. “We worked hard to make the transition easy and to provide ENA with connectivity to additional carriers to support the needs of their customers. All of 365 Data Centers‘ customers benefit when we bring additional carriers into our data centers.”
